    Diego,
Just for that reason you mentioned, we have set up escrow in the US. All of our reservations go to state side Chicago Title and are held there until the buyer has done there due diligence. Once they have committed to purchase (purchase and sale), escrow is transferred to Costa Rica Chicago Title and both parties have a binding agreement to perform.

    Scott,

I did not know if there was additional info and where to send this info. I did not want to post on site in fear of violating a rule.

    Grifz77,

Would you email me your “Smell Test”? I would like to submit potentially an option for your group. Please let me know what is the best way to accomplish this task with out breaking Scott’s rule. I can provide an email or phone number to exchange this info.

    Please advise.

    Ron,

Prior to relocating to Costa Rica and working for a developer, I searched for a developer who was doing everything possible to develop socially and environmentally responsible. I chose SeaBreeze Mountain which is based out of Tamarindo, however the development is 15 minutes from the new JW Marriott that is being built in Hacienda Pinilla. We have implemented wind mill power, solar panels, state of the art water treatment for each of the individual homes which produces 95% clean water. We also are heavily involved with the improvement of living standards in Las Delicias. We provide job training, English classes, are building a new church, renovating the school and donating to special needs of the community…just to name a few.

I have read a lot of negative about developers, however there are a few good developers who really do care and are not just talking about it. That is why I would recommend SeaBreeze Mountain and why I chose to work for them.
