    Jerelli,

You are not alone. I am making my move to CR in just a few days. It appears as though the Republic has been decimated by the central bankers. I hope I am wrong, but it seems as though some sort of revolution is the only chance we have to get it back. I’m just glad I’ll be living in the “crown jewel” of the Americas when/if such a thing occurs.

Tico’s should be very proud of their country. No Army. I love it.

One of my primary reasons for making the decision to move to Costa Rica is defined clearly in this thread.

Here are a few great Google searches I found along the way:

    The Zeitgeist Addendum
    The Zeitgeist Movie
    The Zeitgeist Movement
    Ron Paul
    The Northwood Papers
    The man who predicted 9/11
    Engineers for 911 truth
    The Gulf Of Tonkin
    The Federal Reserve
    The Council On Foreign Relations
    Prescott Bush (Grandfather of George)
    WTC 7
    Thermite
Luis McFadden and the Federal Reserve
John F. Kennedy and the Federal Reserve

“None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.”

    – Goethe

I know lots of people who are coming right down behind me for very similar reasons. I wonder how many people will be coming to Costa Rica over the next few years… I happen to believe that Costa Rica’s sovereignty is the crown jewel of the Americas. I can’t imagine commercial jet liners diving at the San Jose Public Library nor Anthrax attacks on politicians. I don’t mind potholes and a “tomorrow” attitude.

What we’re looking for won’t happen until EVERYBODY lays their swords down. Costa Rica is a shining example to the world on how it really does induce peace. This is in obvious sharp contrast to the neocons theology which promotes the concept that societies will deteriorate unless an enemy figure exists or is created by it’s government.

The “war” on drugs… The “war” on terror…

Here is a quote from David Rockefeller of The Council On Foreign Relations:

“We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time
Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended
our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost
    forty years.”

“It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world
if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years.
But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a
world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite
and world bankers is surely preferable to the national
    auto-determination practiced in past centuries.”

I thought the same thing. But then I remembered that this guy (Hal) said that it was “U.S. Government issued” currency headed to China. That video could be just a very clever way for someone to sell dumb “conspiracy theory” collectible coins. Very clever. Bottom line is that either he’s lying or he’s not. God I hope he’s a liar.

Here’s an article in today’s Alex Jones PP

The world’s central bankers are gathering this week at the IMF-World Bank conference in Washington DC and are expected to grease the skids for the creation of a machinery of world economic governance under the pretext of preventing a repeat of the financial crisis, a global economic policeman to patrol a de-facto financial dictatorship.

Bilderberg member and recently appointed UK Business Secretary Peter Mandelson argued last week that new global solutions are needed because “the machinery of global economic governance barely exists”, adding: “It is time for a Bretton Woods for this century,” reports the Telegraph, noting that “Opinion is now hardening around the case for a new global architecture to enforce rules that ensure lessons are learnt.”

This followed the proposal to create a new EU body to regulate banks across the entire European financial market.

Top EU officials, including economy commissioner Joaquin Almunia, have stated that the EU should have greater powers to regulate and intervene in the operations of financial institutions across Europe.

Influential media giants like the Wall Street Journal are pushing a “new world order” to solve the crisis, while British Prime Minister Gordon Brown called for a “a new global financial order” to supersede the institutions created after World War II.

The elite are up to their old tricks again, after all, a leopard never changes its spots.

They created the problem of wildly irresponsible fractional reserve banking, the debt bubble and the credit crunch by ceaselessly inflating the money supply and now they are going to offer their solution to the crisis – the further centralization of global economic power into fewer hands.

Appointing the former CEO of Goldman Sachs to oversee the bailout and ensure the bankers divvy up the spoils of the greatest stick-up heist in history amongst themselves was not enough for these fascists – they want to go full board and exploit the crisis they caused to advance the stuttering agenda for world government that has been in the works for the best part of 100 years at least.

I almost feel bad for spending so many years making fun of the “tin foil hat conspiracy geeks”. The evidence sure seems to be adding up lately. Even Lou Dobbs has jumped on the bandwagon now. Google “North American Union” and “Lou Dobbs” for YouTube video.

Hal Turner is a wackjob. He may even be a white supremacist – I’m not sure though. I can’t deny however that he IS holding the evidence in his hand.

in reply to: Financial ties with CR and the USA? #192901

I’m no economist so this is just a guess from a regular Joe…

I think that CR suffers commensurate with the USA UP TO A POINT. If there is a complete collapse of the US dollar, CR will come out smelling like a rose long term… IF it can stay away from CAFTA and the AMERO.

Costa Rica has the resources to completely sustain itself in the event of a complete global meltdown. I have no idea if that will actually happen but I am a whole lot more suspicious after these recent 3 weeks. Costa Rica’s sovereignty is the crown jewel of the Americas.

I just returned from a 10 day trip looking at real estate. I’ll be back in a month to keep looking.

I just arrived here yesterday. It’s been 22 years. I spent 3 hrs walking around downtown San Jose carrying a big camera around my neck. I pulled it out and started talking some great pictures after I counted 8 different policemen in the first 20 minutes. I chatted with them and they told me they rarely see anything serious happen in daylight. They told me I should put the camera away at night though. I wore tore jeans, a stained t-shirt and hiking boots. I sat on a park bench and practiced my Spanish with a lot of very nice, friendly people. It’s a lot safer than the city next to the one I live in. I’m not saying anyone should do this – it’s just I have a history of taking care of myself when necessary.

“Why do we allow them to ignore 97% of the non-Jewish people?”

It’s not that “We” – “allow” it – it’s just a lack of eduction and ignorance. Get involved in putting a stop to it yourself. There are many organizations devoted to just this. Try CampaignForLiberty.com

I’m more concerned about keeping CR out of the North American Union than I am saving the US. I’m not so sure the US will recover from this takeover.

Why do you believe China already has it’s hands on CR?

    I’m unaware of these politics.

in reply to: Living here makes it clear there #192356

It is a fact that the United States Federal Reserve Bank is a privately owned corporation. It’s a fact that the same people who own the federal reserve bank also own over 90% of the US Media as of 24 months ago. It’s a fact that 90% of these people call themselves “Zionists” behind closed doors. This conversation is 100% relevant to owners of real estate in Costa Rica. There is a very obvious reason why it “appears” as though the US protects Israel. Our country has been hijacked and it’s republic and constitution demolished by these people.

It is primarily for these reasons I am moving to Costa Rica. (I also have many Tico friends from living here 20 years ago.) You think baby boomers are what is going to drive the market value back up in CR someday? No, it’s folks like myself who are paying attention. Our numbers are growing and I know at least a dozen families who are coming down right behind me.

Please do not misunderstand me – I am by no means a racist. I have many jewish friends whom I love very much – but these people who now own the “Corporation Of The United States” aren’t like any jews I’ve ever known.
