i am curious about the weather in grecia, is it as hot as santa ana, or nice and cool like heredia? is the bus service frequent to san jose? is it true that the houses aren’t barred the way they are almost everywhere else in c.r.? thanks for your help–i am coming down in the summer to check out retirement options and grecia is one of the places i want to look at

i am also an acupuncturist considering relocation to costa rica…somewhere on my desk is a reference to a korean man who practices there, when it surfaces i will share it with you…somehow my impression is that there is a very “loose” attitutude to practicing there, but i could be wrong!

i don’t know about apartments but there is a gated community or two of small new houses across the street from the language school in town, called “centro panamericano de idiomas” (CPI)…maybe some of those could be rented?

i stayed in a small pueblo named san joaquin des flores, 10 minutes by bus to heredia, 1/2hour to san jose–definitely not beverly hills, it’s quiet, with good climate and nice views of the mountains…
