Hi rf2cr….I did get yor letter before(a few weeks ago)and that is what made me go to Javier I even uses your names as a referral. I just thought with all the effort he had to do for you mine is relatively simple and if 2 people was $1,800 I thought it would be much less for one simple deal. I thank you for the lead and that is my reason for asking
    thanks

Hi Scott…a flat fee of $1000.00 for Rentista then a bunch of add on coming up to 724.50. This was the folks you recommended and I have yet to re-contact them as I have been going through much stuff here. I am not totally sure that this is “all” the charges but I will follow up and see. I am involved in a condo. flip deal that may delay my move a month or so but I am definately coming

Hi, I have contacted to attorneys recommended on this site and have gotten cost (turn key) of well over $2000. I had read here of the cost being more like $800 range. Does anyone have a good idea of what one should really expect to pay…tax title and license as we say when your are buying a car.
    thanks

Scott…Interesting,I interviewed with Mapache and a affiliate from Minnisota and he told me that things were selling so fast that they were indeed selling things before getting permits and indeed he was selling things before he even owned them. Places that he maybe had offers on with out acceptance yet. BUT he gave written contracts (which I did not study) with all deposits going to a title company and giving the buyers the chance to back out or move to another of his developments. I did see 3 or 4 of his developments with buildings in various stages of compleation and that was last April or May. He seemed to be very honest and nice. BUT as you have said you really need a lawyer of your own to check everything out.

Antonic…depends on how adverturious (sp?) you are.. I went by bus and then bought a return ticket to back just over the border which was an “open” ticket. I did end up having to pay for a round trip ticket to get back to the U.S. even though I was only going one way, as a one way ticket actually cost more thank round trip…say what??? but true. I am going in July or Aug to stay for a long time so I guess this time I will just have to gut it out and buy a round trip ticket (just in case they ask to see my return ticket) although I hear and read on this site and others that Most of the time they never bother to ask.. well who really knows

    Hi there eehorobec..
ref. B&B at Arenal….I was in C.R. last year and stayed at a Very modest but clean place called Hotel Dorothy. It is just about a block from downtown La Fortuna. They do have meals and beer in a cooler but Nothing fancy. My room was large King & full size beds with a large bath..hot water and quite acceptable…and ONLY $6.00 per night for single and $8.00 for doubles…Yes this is NOT a typo they also arranged for a trip to walk throught the jungle to the base of the volcano which I did plus included a trip to a great hot springs place with something like 20 different levels of “Hot” water.

roark….GET OUT…let them kill off as many as they can and then we can simply bomb the rest of the bad guys and be done with it…we can win this mess it is just money for the government to keep it running…we are the bad guys…we can not defeat 100 years of bad blood…we just need to let the military kill them all and not worry about politics….we need to keep our money at home and stop wasting out money “protecting” people who will never be able to be protected… When the bad guys are in charge then we simply bomb them and distroy them all….very simple military tactic….no political agenda…kill the bad guys

imxploring…as I have said so many times on this site…the United States will go to any lengths to get money out of its’ citizens. Have you ever tried to go up against them….Well I have and I was told A. you will not win even though you are right..B. it will cost you 10 times the amount of loss and you will loose. C. Attorney fees are not re-paid as part of a settlement IF you should by some freak win. I had $18,400 “on deposit” with the IRS for future tax bills that might come due and by some obscure law at the end of three years with out notice they took my money and NOthing could be done…We are the Government and we are here to help you….yaa right. The govenment is desperate for money and will do everything they can to take it from whom ever they choose. I.E. the new law that allows private citizens to take “emminent domain” over other private citizens properties if they can show the local, state of Feds that they can bring more tax revenue to the taxing authority…..and yes this is correct

Jim, that is what I thought…I do mark and get updates but was hoping to be able to see new ideas or thoughts that someone had to add to an old topic. It seem a difficult task to have to go thru 1300 emails to see if such items exist everytime you come to the site. Maybe Scott can read your email and mine and figure out how to get the red box (new message) as a way to search.
