Very sweet & kuddos to you, Scott! I’m happy to have read about another of one of your acts of kindness. Please keep us posted on Ignacio. You are the greatest!:D
TexasMemberThank you….Some folks put down more than $25K-others paid off their property at a 25% discount & got deeds? & corp papers. What a mess.Folks who put up $ with Paragon & folks who paid off their property-seek legal advice, seek US federal advice, the broken wheel gets fixed……..hope so….
TexasMember
My humble $0.02 …the whole Paragon scheme was clearly a scam from start to finish …the legal process will be lengthy and ultimately yield little for the investors. Maybe something could be put together if a majority of the investors could somehow come together, however one shouldn’t underestimate the difficulty of doing that.
Bill Gale is a crook and a con artist, given he’s made some money from this and other disasters and still walks around free one can assume a degree of smarts. If I had lost money in this scheme I wouldn’t be so much looking to a legal solution as to help from some of my “Colombian” friends in Florida. Just a thought!
johnlack, you have a lack of sense. This disaster needs to be dealt with through legal channels. I don’t appreciate your suggestion of a solution-not appropriate, not acceptable & you should go to your room for a long time.
TexasMemberI beg to differ. Paragon did refund some $ to disgruntled clients, thereby, paying off Peter to pay Paul, thereby self-sustaining the whole scheme-until they ran out of $.
TexasMember
hahahaha — that’s funny. will we have to goosestep too?
Sorry to say it’s happening & it’s happening now-no kidding-goossetep to your bank now.I see the trends in the US.I’m no expert, but being liquid not matter where you live is your best bet.Happy Passover & Happy Easter this coming Sunday.
TexasMember
What?
No Marmite?
How about beef Bovril? It’s the best! I purchase it online, however, one of my kids told me he saw it in a state side store recently.
TexasMemberI feel your pain in dealing with this nice woman. There is nothing you could have done to prevent her ending her life. “No matter where you go, there you are!”
My heartfelt feelings for you in dealing with this tragic event.
TexasMemberI’ll join in-Scott you are the best! Happy New Year to you and yours!
TexasMemberHopefully, things will change-we’ll see next Tuesday.
My niece’s husband is in Afghanistan. He’s been under fire & lost some men. We pray he returns to his wife and two babies. He’s a brave soldier, but I’m mad he is still in danger.
TexasMemberI appreciate your thoughts. Contemplate the future. But do your best to live in the now. I’m also Tim’s age. This evening I’m having a nice meal which my dog will sit by me and wait until I drop something. Sweet moments! Yes, you should envy your dogs-I do- mine. Anyway, we humans worry, worry about so much. But today is good.
TexasMemberImpeach yes! I met this kid (young man) in the early 70’s at different functions in Texas. He was a ” wild child”! That’s all I’ll say.
We’ll be done with him after the next election. I can’t see impeachment going forward.
It’s my hope that folks with support Obama or any other Demo.
We’ll see what happens……….
TexasMemberI agree with you! Happy Memorial Day to US folks & everyone.
TexasMemberYou guys made me laugh-loved the sock story and being scarred from that experience! However, last time I visited CR my camera was stolen from my checked bag. It could have happened in Ft Lauderdale or San Jose. That’s my only brush with a “possible” crime in CR & I’ve been to CR numerous times.
TexasMemberVague is what is Costa and Paragon and the rest are.
TexasMemberThank you. Loved it! Sent it to all my “old” friends.
