I couldnt agree more, just alittle to late!!!LOL
the kiddMemberYes I got an D.N.A TEST just to make sure I wasnt getting played.
the kiddMemberMy lawyer here told me I dont have to leave every 3 months because its my constitutional right to stay here as long as I want since I have a son here..Its an exception to that rule. beside the country wont let me leave so they cant penalize me for not leaving, there the ones telling me I cant. But who knows in this assbackward country!!!!
the kiddMemberI’M working on my residency all I got left to do is bring it to immigration.I’ve been living in costa on and off since 2004. I worked at a sportsbook that my friend owns in alajuela but i never had a work permit. I dont work there anymore the guys running the office I dont get along with.I could put the 13 months in the bank but I dont trust her enough to do that, I know she would spend it in 2 days and my son wouldnt see any of it. and then she’d be broke for the rest of the year and my son would lose out..So I pay her once a month..But my question is shouldnt they give me a work permit if they have ordered me to pay support even if I dont have residency? They tell me I have to pay so I think they should give me the means to do so…even without residency, dont you think? But this is costa rica were talking about, doing that would make to much sense and that is very rare here..
the kiddMemberat least 2 books and I dont think anyone has read either one of them…lol
the kiddMemberI have a 2 1/2 year old son and im in the middle of getting a residency. Im getting a relative residency i guess its different type of residency, look on the costa rican embassy website… my lawyer told me I dont have to leave costa rica because I have a son that is costa rican and that its my constatucional right to be in costa rica for as long as I want and also I can never be deported for any reason(I read the deporting part on one of the embassies web sites). With or without residency. And im court ordered to pay child support and the babies mother blocked my passport so theres only 2 ways I can leave the country: One:is she gives me written permission verified through the child support office. Two:I have to put 13 months of child support in our court appointed account at BCR.I have a friend who has a daughter there hes been there for 9 yrs and doesnt have his residency and hes only left the country a few times and they have never said anything to him, no fines or nothing…If you have any doubts ask a lawyer or look it up in the costa rica embassy website.. Good luck
