ever see those programs where they bust the guys trying to arrange sex with a child? most of them are fat, balding, and yes, married, professionals — doctors, lawyers, dentists. we had a friend who came to CR recently. the best part of his vacation he said was spending a week at the Del Rey and dropping $2000 on hookers. maybe not your friends or mine are after underage sex partners, but somebody wants them because that part of the sex trade is rampant and flourishing.
The DELREY is very down on minors. Sure those pervs pass through there.hen they go somewhere else. Where i have no idea. I think the staff and owners are not that type at all. I have never sen anyone at the Delrey pointed out as the GOTO GUY for minors. I hear of the cigar guys, shoe shine guys, pill guys etc but never ever any mention of child sex etc. For the most part anyone that did talk that stuff would get a unwanted treatment from many of the patrons. Sure i guess there are those types but never suspected anyone or heard anyone talk about them at all.
sex trafficking is a worldwide problem — it’s supply and demand. if people weren’t so depraved there wouldn’t be a need to meet the demand. it isn’t a secret that men come here because prostitution is legal; and hand in hand with that is the desire for underage women. now why is that? the sex trade in asia is flourishing, as well as in the EU, and the US. and who are the people demanding such services?
I probably know about 25 single men and many of them have been to CR and NONE of them ever mentioned at all anything about wanting sex with a minor. Yes single men do have sex; that doesn’t mean we are perverted. Very often the pervert that comes to surface is a married man that has a wife that won’t give him any. I haven’t been to a bachelor party in years but that is my memory of them. The married guys are the ones that talk the trash.
why would you need a dental plan when dental costs here are about 1/4 of Stateside prices? My dentist in colorado charges $275 for a cleaning. i pay $40 here. my husband’s dentist in the States quoted him $28,000 to do the surgery he needed done. He had everything taken care of in Costa Rica for a cost of less than $2500.
Just doing some due diligence. Didn’t you see Scott’s article that i think came out yesterday?
Hello,
I am looking for information on guard dogs here in Costa Rica. We are considering having a trained guard dog as part of our protection plan here in Manuel Antonio. We are about to move into our home which we have been building for the past year. We are right on the edge of the National Park, which has advantages and disadvantages as far as security and the need to be kind to our surrounding environment and the wildlife.
After getting in touch with a breeder and trainer of guard dogs here in Costa Rica, I realized that I might not need that much of a dog. They are pretty intense and very expensive. At the same time, after doing a good bit of reading on the subject, mostly from providers of guard dogs, I am realizing that unless you do have a very well trained and properly bred dog, that it may not really end up helping out as much as you like, or that it may become dangerous if not trained properly and is simply just aggressive.
So here is the question: If I do not go with the $10,000 intensely bred and trained German Shepard, then is there a way to have a “regular” dog trained here in Costa Rica to be a proper guard dog? Safe, reliable and not $10,000?
    Thanks for any advice.
I am not there but David makes a lot of sense. You could spend 10k for a dog and that first night someone might poison it. Although you will miss a mutt they are sure cheap and when you have a bunch then imo a lot of poisoners won’t try. Any dog will be a better dog and more enjoyable after a basic obedience course.

I apologise for the terminology. A very poor article that does nothing but inspire fear.

David i started a thread about how i thought this article was just creating fear and nothing is actually happening in regards to the article. They are just saying theoretical ideas.I created another theoretical idea as an example. My thread has been removed without any notice or message at all. Just gone!

huge amount of money in pads and blankets, moving boxes.
Is there a market to sell them for others leaving once we
get them unpacked or just burn them after we un load?

Why burn them? Remember you are in Costa Rica. Nothing get wasted in Costa Rica they adapt. Give them away if nothing else.

We have 12 dogs, with most being former street dogs that were dropped off at the farm, the newest yesterday, but understand why some people would like a particular breed of dog or pup. All but 3 are ‘fixed’.
Our worker purchased 2 female German shepherd pups and hopes to breed them.
You are aware that in the event your porch collapses and kills two or more dogs then you might be a Redneck. lol That is what they say around here anyway.

And constitutional supremacy be damned!
Constitutional supremacy only applies when constitutional federal law contradicts state law. There IS NO constitutional federal law which permits public servants to make unreasonable search and seizure of citizens. In fact, the Texans are defending themselves against a violation of the 4th amendment of the Bill of Rights.

What do citizens do when their federal government has been high jacked by a European banking cartel and ignores the 4th amendment? A better question is what do citizens do when

their own government declares war on them? Blockades are a

declaration of war any place on the planet. President Jefferson stated that the people have an obligation to revolt when their government becomes tyrannical.

I don’t know if there are enough US citizens who are aware, awake and willing to make the sacrifices required to tear down this criminal government. I am older and more tired now and feel I no longer have a stake in this drama so I am not willing to sacrifice. I only wish to flee this insanity to Costa Rica and hope the tyranny doesn’t migrate south as well.
I for one would wish that Sprite can get his butt moved down to CR so he quit his diatribes.
