Found another cardiologist for you, recommended by a friend who is in the medical field: Yamilah Bouzid. She is an internist and cardiologist, US trained and is bilingual.

Thank you again, David. I had forgotten that we had to convert dollars to collones monthly. We have, of course, but have not been keeping the receipts.

Our SS checks are direct deposited here in CR and we usually withdraw collones from the ATM. Do we need to keep the ATM receipts as proof of conversion and is that sufficient?

Wading through the links M posted. Not sure what indigenous people’s corn raising abilities have to do with this…

Oh – and I never made fun of yoga. Read it again, Maravilla. I made fun of kismet.

Wait, Vache, before I read M’s latest post, I need a share of that rum!

Then perhaps you could tout your scientific knowledge and enlighten me?

Motive? An inability to understand the complexity of the world leading to a sense of loss of control, of personal power? Luddites, conspiracy theorists, fear mongers don’t need much more motive than that.

Thanks, Sprite. What I look for is articles based on factual scientific evidence and repeatable studies and published in reputable scientific journals. When I see a mass of articles such as those listed in “waking”, I have to be skeptical of both the articles and the source.

Up here by the lake, we love young women in their 60’s (I am one, but married). And we have some great rentals up here as well as a lively community of expats. Ladies of the Lake is very active in the community and Arenal Gardeners has both meetings and monthly trips. Come join us!

As usual, you misunderstand. I am not poking fun at yoga – yoga is terrific for the body – I am poking fun at karma. As for mental telepathy, can you guess what I am thinking about your ill considered opinions? Ok, no telepathy needed for that one……

Sprite, I almost hate to start this up again, so I will limit myself to saying, ‘did you see the types of articles that “waking times” publishes?’ Mental telepathy; the spiritual nature of hair; the suburbs as ‘self-organizing labor camps’; understanding karma with yoga? Somehow I doubt that there is any real science going on here.

And I am not even going to mention GMOs.

Sailor, that is where we go for beef, and you are correct. It is soooo tender.

Dave, if my son makes $70k and a CEO bakes 7 million or 70 million, my only concern is that my son’s $70k gets him what he needs, allows for some luxuries and lets him save for the future. That’s what is wrong with the video.

I also heard the story about the office in Liberia. We were going to do it, then I heard that you need to apply for the extension 20 days prior to the expiration of your current visa. I think its worth checking out, but, since my visa expired in 8 days, I took a trip to Nicaragua. The Nicaragua trip was fairly easy; I went through Los Chiles. The boat ride was lovely.
