We stay at our house in CR about 4-5 months a year. We have a couple of acres on the Guanacaste coast. The only time we have our property cut is when we plan to be there. Before we built we paid $100 and had it cut once a year at the end of the rainy season.

I certainly appreciate your concern but I honestly think you would be wasting your time …

[/quote]You may be right, but what do they say “One voice then becomes two and on and on …”. In fact you could be much more successful at educating Costa Rica Style than me, by refusing to promote video’s, etc. with environmentally destructive images on your site. If they have no audience, they may be motivated to produce adventure style videos with an environmental conscience.
videoladyMemberHGTV taped an episode in Marbella about 2 weeks ago. I don’t know when it will air. It was part of the HGTV Rental programing. I agree it’s fun to see your favorite places featured.
videoladyMemberCostaRicaBill, Thanks so much for the update, very happy to hear all is well.
videoladyMemberI’m from California and have been through a few bad shakes so am hoping the damage is minor. Thanks for the pictures and the link. I am glued to CNN and internet but still no word from friends and family. Glad to hear you made it through without too much damage, sorry to hear about Johnnie W!
