Okay so maybe I need to find just a little hut to get away in. Not planning on buying anything at the moment just getting an idea of what I would like to do while down there. Thanks for the advice.

CRbill thanks. I come here everyday to read the posts. I have no plans to leave. The female ratio seems pretty low here and I don’t want to step on any toes.
I am living my dream through all of you right now. Hopefully by next summer I will be living the dream, so until then I will hang around like the the lime in my Corona.
I agree costaricafinca and my sincere condolences to the family but my God where do we get abusing other people from the sad reality of death.

Wow I am shocked. Any man ever tries to “bitch slap” me, my iron skillet would be right across their head. No human being ever deserves to be hit slapped or punched, whether it be a man or a woman.

I have to say I am enjoying the story. It is sad because I am one of those suckers who believes in love at first sight.

Waggoner you actually drove a Datsun pickup down there? I know I won’t drive unless I can get someone to come with me.
I know Costa Rica has changed alot since the 70’s and I am planning a visit but it is time for a change. I am serious adventurer. I backpacked across the U.S. alone in 01.
I have traveled many places alone but I want to settle in Costa Rica. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff.

Thank you so much for the info. My Dad use to take me to Costa Rica as a little girl. I was so young but I remember the weather was beautiful and you could look over the mountains and see the ocean.
Scott I have been searching the site as you suggested and have found a wealth of information. Love your home but it may be a bit big for just me unless I can convince my sons to move there with me.
I hope not to be a menace to you over the coming months. Being a writer causes me to do a a great deal of research. Thanks so much.
