but you forget that CR is the highway for drugs coming from South America and going to mexico and then the US. every few days there is some raid where they bust pot and cocaine smugglers who were making their way north through the mangrove swamps. many of these busts end in violence. sure, it’s not happening in my neighborhood, but on both southern coasts there is lots of narcotrafficking going on.
nice to see someone is aware of this.theirs A whole lot of other things going on in the middle.you probably don’t want to know about that though.
and drugs and dealing, just how many folks live there that are running from prosecution?
alot more could be said.

it’s the santa ana Belen exit.
it’s 9 km from the new highway.
which,as posted is the exit for the pizza hut and rosti pollo.
I have no idea why you would drive back 10 minutes to San Jose, turn right and drive another 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic, to get to this new highway?????? Have you ever been in the Lindora area traffic???? Hello????
Winthin less time than that you could be further down the road getting on in LaGarita for the time being. Once the new Coyol entrance is open, it will then be the best route.
Just because you know how to get to the new highway doesn’t mean it is any where near the closest or best route.
um,,,someone asked specifically for the Santa ana exit.thus the elicited question recieved A prompt answer.now had they asked for the closest measure from Orotina, they’d have recieved your reply.TYVM
Back to the original question: Absentee landlords.
Some friends had an ½ Ac. lot with a 2 storey duplex and a cabina on it at Rio Bananito, 20-Km south of Limón.
And yesterday found that the duplex is gone!
Nothing to do with the government, just that ’persons unknown' have razed the building and removed the structures along with everything else.
And, yes, they were paying a caretaker.
this is A common situation for absentee owners.often they think to just secure it and come every few mos,or have friends who’ll visit/stay for vacation.
theirs A penchant type of feeling about this.it stems form A few scenarios.
A “gringo” buys A property that had A caretaker and they think they don’t need the caretaker.so they board and lock the home and alls well.well,it’s not.when yo do this the caretaker that was removed ultimately knows pretty much whats there and getting it for resale or use becomes his objective.
saw it happen in Tarcoles,Quatro Escinas in Orotina,Quebrada Maria personally, and heard of it happening on severa occasions.
or they buy land, and don’t have it checked out occasionally by someone who manages or lives near by and they get squatters.this cenario has been adressed on this site.

my friends office is right behind the monkey bar. he attended A program for several weeks in the city.then was certified to bring A sale through stages that normally require the services of A lawyer.which in the end for the stamping and the registro cert. you must use.
what he’s done in my eyes is seemingly much better that the great majority that use cafes for net service, drive A hoopty,or A bicycle, then rent A fatty ride and play dress-up the monkey when it’s time to show real estate.
as A contractor, back in the states I was unimpressed with RE agents and their less than moral ethics.
and to see them come to costa and ply their trade without regulation?disgusting.

your so right. and they are in A list of at least A hundred I’ve seen operating in the Jaco area.
sadly the liscensed ones are seemingly as shady.I know one kid,A Tico, that were anyone to ask me about who, what where why and,did I say who?that I’d recommend.
oh,and he’s local, been local by birth and since he was 17 working with the market.liscensed to sell and broker.

made by KIA.I’ve wanted one for A while.I talk to folks that have them. A few have bought them several years old and have had fair to good results.
as with anything stuff happens.all in all, with doing the footwork and questioning they seem to be the deal.
also the new ones do not have turbos. they have 2.7 liter motors and the co. did this to save from another facet to the driveline. they are stout without it.
alot of the info I have is from RESEARCH.talking to salesman both in Herradura at the plaze and then at A truck place in SJ.the info paralelled between the 2 so I take it as fairly good.

I brought 2 dogs down.did the net research, got the info from the webpage for costa rica gov. then went to the vets office. they just (gratefully) ignored my papers told me to come back the next day for the pet check-up and rabies vac.
they knew what I needed what to do and such.they took all my worries away.
ya might just call your vet. apparently mine is above top notch.
he’s in jensen beach florida.on SR 714 next to the skatepark.

I am in the proccess of getting over it. I have had it for A month. with the inital onset then 2 re-occurences. they took blood. my plaquettes were so low that they kept vigil by phone with me.
Here in Jaco they have had A very bad time with it. it’s A dfaytime bite. they are picking up pipas off the beach and finding that the dungue larva are more prominent in them than standing water for some reason.(this info came from the dr. and the pharmacist)
what A horrific time.I cannot imagine what A kid or child would think/feel.personally the third onset was the worst.I wished just to drop the — dead.

I’m not A block mason and my block laying qualities are far superior to most I’ve seen in the Jaco area. lets just say God bless stucco, caulk and paint.
I’ve seen rebar exposed too the element on the beach projects and most too the point that it’d need too be treated before the const. went on.
sorry for sounding negative yet these things seemingly never get adressed.they wait on sand,(and when they’ve waited long enough they sneak out onto the beach with A backhoe and get A couple of buckets full)they wait on mortar they wait on fasteners and so on and so forth.nothing like promoting the acceleration of deterioration with salt beach sand to the already untreated rusty rebar.
for anyone having something built, find someone that is neutral and can do A weekly inspection with the authority to cease work upon your long distance order.

Alfred, keep your eyes open when your in costa rica. he may be A real estate agent now,or A developer.better yet,A non-profit charity co-ordinator.which doesn’t mean you can’t use the funds to live lavishly.
as too topic.what too say.it happens here in the statesas often as anywhere else as Alfred attested too.
