Getting in Ahead of the Curve – Why Sierpe is the next logical step for investors.
Have you ever visited a place to find yourself thinking, “Wow, if I had only purchased property here five years ago”?
The key to a savvy investment is finding it before everyone else does. That place is the Northern Osa Peninsula and the time is right now. We have discovered this gem and are excited to share it with you.
Sierpe rests at the gateway to the Osa Peninsula which is home to the most pristine land in Costa Rica. Large parcels of gorgeous forests with ocean views are far more accessible and affordable than you may think.

The opportunity for development in pristine, eco settings is rare. We have seen other investment opportunities come and go along the Pacific Coast. Development has followed a southbound trend from Tamarindo to Jaco through Quepos/Manuel Antonio and on to Dominical. Dirt roads, cabinas and locally owned restaurants have transformed into paved highways, professional offices and gourmet cuisine.
An hour North of Sierpe in Dominical the impact of this southbound development trend is apparent as you drive along the Costanera Highway and see condos, villas, resorts, spas and English speaking services. Sierpe is unique in that it remains virtually untouched by foreign investors and multinational corporations.
The next logical step along the southbound chain of development is Sierpe. The infrastructure making future development possible continues to come our way. The highway leading from San Jose directly to Jaco is currently underway, drastically reducing the drive time from the capitol city to the Pacific Coast.
From there, a coastal highway connects Jaco to Quepos to Dominical and then on to Palmar Norte. Not only does this route cut the duration of the trip in half, it also boasts gorgeous seascapes as well as jungle sights and sounds. This highway, called the Costanera, junctures with the Pan American Highway in Palmar Norte, where you’ll find the discrete turn off to Sierpe.
From there you’ll feel fortunate to drive through the massive palm plantations on one of the best roads we’ve found in all of Costa Rica. The dirt road that used to take 45 minutes to connect Sierpe with the domestic airport in Palmar Sur now takes only 15.
The Costa Rican government also recognizes this trend in Southen Zone growth and is pouring their money into local infrastructure. An exciting prospect for the future of the Northern Osa Peninsula is the proposal of an international airport near Sierpe.
With the completion of the new state of the art hospital in Cortes, the repavement of all roads in Palmar Norte and the new bridge on the road to Sierpe we are prepared for the growth we expect to see in the coming years. Annual improvements to the road that links Sierpe to Drake Bay and the fullness of the Osa Peninsula also increases the convenience and mobility of residents in the Southern Zone.
While we do not advocate making investment decisions based solely upon the arrival of the international airport near Sierpe, should the airport come to fruition it could provide substantial returns for the long term investor.

You could be the one to get in on the ground floor, buy inexpensive land and bring amenities, communities and stores to the area. Five years from now you can be that savvy investor looking back happy that you got in when you did. We can help you make that happen.
