Jaco continues to emerge as one of the top travel destinations in Costa Rica, adding more cultural events each month.

Last week could not have demonstrated how Jaco is focusing on hosting live music and a mix of activities for both the local community and tourists.  

Highlighted by the popular Jungle Jam Concert Series, over 12 different artists performed at the Doce Lunas resort:  

Slightly Stoopid, Don Carlos, G Love, Kung Fu, Thicker Than Thieves were some of the big headliners and they didn’t disappoint as fans from all over enjoyed great music in the lush, tropical rainforest.  

And while many of the bands from Jungle Jam also played in different restaurants and venues throughout the week, the area also welcomed some other acts.  

Earlier in the week the Calvin College Orchestra performed at Teatro Jaco.

The Michigan based Orchestra was quite the contrast, but provided a great performance.  In addition the Los Sueños resort held its own Art & Music Festival, with local artists displaying their works.  

We are proud of everyone to help bring all of these great performances and festivals to the area.  

As the community continues to grow, expect Jaco Beach to continue to add more exciting events and performances.
