Costa Rica offers many different terrains and climate zones, it’s one of the reasons why I encourage people to explore the country and spend some time here so they can discover what area is best for them.

The beach life is one of the more popular choices, with beautiful beaches nestled up against lush rainforest, its no wonder why many fall in love with the coastal shores of the Central Pacific.

Living at the beach offers a lifestyle that is very calm and mellow, a true contrast for those who have spent years living in a congested city or caught up with the North American rat race.

You’ll struggle to find a street light in most beach towns in Costa Rica, and typically you’ll see more traffic on foot or on bicycles than cars.

The beach life also caters towards those who seek a more active lifestyle. With warm weather year around, its easy to plan outdoor activities, and thanks to a little mother nature and some man made amenities the Central Pacific offers plenty.

Its more than just surfing. Great fishing, golf, biking, hiking, paddleboarding, are just a few of the popular activities in this region.

But sometimes just a lazy day hanging out the beach is more than enough. The region offers a number of different beaches all distinct in look and personality. Punta Leona, Hermosa, Esterillos, Hermosa, Jaco, Bejuco are just a few of the more popular beaches in the Central Pacific, and all are different in their unique way.

Our weekends, like most locals who live here are spent at the beach, and with so many to choose from its nice that we can mix it up. Most people are happy to visit the beach on their vacation, imagine going to the beach everyday for the rest of your life!
