Recently had my Japanese 74 year old mother relocate to Costa Rica, and she comments on how she is enjoying the tropical climate, healthy diet, and the warmth and friendliness of the people and local culture.

Being a long time resident of Dominical just 30 minutes south, the completion of the coast highway allows me to visit the open market, fine restaurants, shopping, and much more…..

Adjacent to the open market is the new Pez Vela marina with capacity for 300 yachts, in construction on new hotel, and this type of major infrastructure is boosting the economy and setting the pace for major change in the Quepos – Manuel Antonio area.
