Mum & Dad’s Local Pub

Dear Mum & Dad: You will be pleased to know that there are two local bars located less than one kilometer from the Country Club apartments where you will be staying in Santa Ana.

The largest ‘Motor Psycho Bar Grill Shop’ is about 800M away, I believe the owner is a tattoo covered young Canadian biker – we chatted about tattoos one day at his previous bar in Escazu – and he has lots of expat customers.

It actually looks quite nice inside but Dad will not be able to tolerate the music for more than three minutes… But don’t you love that name?

‘Super Rio Oro’ is the closest little ‘pulperia’ which is about 300 meters away from the Country Club entrance. There are two other superb supermarkets AutoMercado and Mas por Menos within two miles of this location.

The Chakas bar is very much a local Tico bar and located about 50M from the entrance to the Country Club condos.
