When it comes to having my family’s hair cut here on the Gold Coast in Guanacaste, I always choose Konny Salon in Huacas.
The place is easy to find, very clean and the staff always go out of their way to take care of us. This is one of the first places that I took my son Jimmy to get his hair cut.
The staff at Konny are very patient with my six year old boy and somehow give him a great cut every time despite the fact he is bouncing around the entire time.
For me personally, it is a relaxing place that I can go to where they know exactly what I expect in regards to my hair cut and every once in a while, I will go with the full spa treatment including massage and manicure.
I opted for a pedicure one time but decided after charging out to the surf on hot sand, silky smooth feet aren’t the best thing for a serious surfer to have.
The location is ideal because whether you live in Potrero, Flamingo, Conchal, Playa Grande or Tamarindo, you are still within a 15 minute drive to Konny Salon.
The Last time I went, the owner informed me that they will now also be open on Sundays. Did I mention they are affordable? My hair cut typically costs me around $10….
