You enter the community over a brick paved road, under tall bamboo and through tropical forest. It is common Macaws flying over or monkeys playing in the trees. Protected by a reef barrier the beach is pristine.

The white sand is the perfect castle making material, the water clear and calm, and a few point break surfing spots a little further out. For the Fletcher family is a nice hide away on our days off.

The security in the community is flawless. So you can imagine how surprised we were to be robbed this past visit.

Our nanny laid in the beach chair with your baby boy and I was teaching my daughter how to chase the tropical fish that you find just steps into the ocean.

Neither of us worried about the family of Monkeys that seemed to be vacationing with us.

The sneaky little guys waited for the most opportune moment and then…. Yes, we were robbed. All our cookies! The Subway sandwiches that we pick up on the way for a picnic! All of it gone! Lucky for us there is a beach club with snacks and drinks.
