We moved to Costa Rica ten years ago and consider ourselves to be political refugees living in exile.

There were many considerations as to where would we go for the life of freedom and peace that we wanted for our lives. Nowhere in the US gave us that option because at the time, no matter where we went, we still had George Bush as President.

Not much has changed, a different puppet President, even less constitutional rights, an internet kill switch up for approval, US$13 trillion in national debt charged on your credit card, false flags and “wars” with more to come.

There is a lot of money to be made for some people in bombs and bullets. We get to pay for the business of war, although I see no personal positive climate from the US government’s war goals.

Freedom? A safer America? No! We are less safe and the Constitution is being dismantled piece by piece while jobs disappear, states go broke, teachers, firefighters and police are laid off, corporations are bailed out and their failed leadership received bonuses while being staggeringly incompetent.

It’s your money! Forget that schools are being shut down, parks and libraries closed, homes foreclosed on…, but there’s always money for more bombs. What future is there for our children? Think military opportunities.

Those are the reasons we no longer live in the USA. Please do not confuse what we say as meaning we do not love our country, we very much love the USA. We do not love what has happened to our country, it’s failed economy, and trampled freedoms as the US government has moved toward fascism. Yes, I used the F…. word.

I thought my Dad defeated the Nazis during WWII, but here they are again, alive and well, firmly in place in the land that we love. The economic and political scenario of the US has not changed for the better with a new administration.

Costa Rica gives us a beautiful democracy to call home. A place that is more like life was in the US in the 50’s, a simpler time, more relaxed with far less economic pressures. Whatever temperature or view you desire to live with, it is in Costa Rica.

BP has also changed America and the world, for forever.

Dead sea life, dolphins, whales, turtles, birds… and soon people; and the undersea volcano goes on and on and on… The people who depend on the Mississippi as a water supply for their families and crops, are without options if they remain.

Food shortages caused by chemical contamination from the Gulf and BP, will be felt world wide as the Atlantic Ocean is being contaminated. And your options are…..? Even growing your own food in these areas may not be an option due to the chemical contamination of your land, dirt, water, air, rain…

I have been warning people that are or will be affected by the Gulf Disaster to get out now before they are affected by the chemical and oil pollution any more than they already are. The ramifications to your health, water supply, food, farm land, children and animals, is deadly.

I was going to say, alarming, not good, but the reality is that soft peddling the disaster is not doing anyone a favor. The hard blunt truth helps us to make good choices and for the people of the Gulf and Florida, you have the immediate need to relocate for long term, perhaps even short term survival.

The US government “controlled” media is not telling us about the disaster in honest terms. The ocean floor is fractured and it is now more broken than it was on day one of the BP disaster.

There is not one oil volcano there are many leaks. If the US government had stepped up to the plate on day one working in the best interest of the American people, they would have taken the advice of real experts, not BP. The current possible fix, will most likely fail. Get ready for that scenario. Bombing the ocean floor was probably the best, although hellish choice to begin with. Now instead of one to stop the volcano it will take perhaps as many as 6.

The Russians have had some success in this field but, the US turned down their help. Can these bombs be something other than a specific nuclear device? Probably not. Now we can add radioactive fallout to our air quality concerns.

If you are looking for a safe place with a stable government to call home, Costa Rica is a very beautiful and affordable place to live. It is also the perfect place to start a sustainable life with the uncertain political and economic global atmosphere that affects everyone.

Pura Vida!
