US Mural Artists Visit Costa Rica – Artlovers wanted!

Ryan Katz and Katie Tarase first met at Kent State University in Ohio four years ago.

They took all of their classes together and lived together so long that their painting styles grew into one. So last year they started a painting company called One Fourth Reality.

Their passion for art is clear when see their work and hear Ryan say that; “We love art and are so unbelievably greatful that we get to do this as a living.” They moved to downtown Cleveland where their company did very well considering it was its first year.

However, both Ryan and Katie feel a stronger pull to see the world and experience life more then make money. So they have decided to pack up their lives and paint in Costa Rica. So far they have been very successful trading murals for places to stay and a small stipend to cover their expenses.

Ryan and Katie will be traveling from San Jose to the Central Valley and then to the Caribbean coast. They plan on visiting for a two month trial run and see where that leads…

According to Ryan; “Katie has never been to Costa Rica and is nervous but I’m sure she’ll fall in love with it as much as I have.”
